Hey, I'm Christina Marie!

Hi. I'm Christina Marie.

I have always loved photography.

My first job in high school was at a hardware store. I took that first paycheck right to Best Buy and bought myself a $300 Nikon camera (which was A LOT at the time!) When my family and I would go up north in Michigan, I would photograph every thing I could find. Flowers, caterpillars, sunsets, you name it. I even set up photoshoots with my best friend and sister. They are super hilarious looking back at them now! I would do their makeup and I would pose them in the woods. Man, I wish I still had those pics.

Now, I photograph with Canon. And my sister and friends still model for me occasionally, they just like the pictures a little better now. ;)

Some other things about me:

  • I have my Bachelors of Fine Arts from Bowling Green State University. (Go falcons!)
  • I love black and white pictures, so much. They are timeless and truly capture emotion. I will definitely include many of them in your gallery!
  • My husband and I are renovating our first house. I will post updates occasionally here on my blog.
  • We also are really into fitness and health! Our favorite thing to do together is go to the gym.
  • I love to crochet!! The blanket in this pic, I made this year!

Meet my right hand man

yeah... he is my husband, too

This awesome guy right here might accompany me on some photo shoots! He calls himself the "bag man" because hes usually carrying my camera bag, everyone's purse, and coats.

He is always equipped with dad jokes and really knows how to make you laugh!

Coffee, Nature, Crochet, Breweries

Things I Love

I love a good cup of coffee (or two) each morning! I'm not sure I could live without it.
I love nature and the tiny details that photography captures in fleeting moments. This lil' bee is one of my favorite nature pics I have ever gotten the chance to capture.

I love to crochet, too. It's my other fav hobby. My favorite things to make are velvet blankets and warm hats for my friends and family.

My husband and I love to check out every local brewery we can. My fav is a good sour.
